William Day

BIO

William was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but grew up in Virginia and North Carolina. After discovering, at age 12, that performing was in his blood, he decided to pursue it as a career. At age 18, William was a working actor starring in a Nickelodeon show at Paramount Kings Dominion. Over the next several years, he appeared in numerous theatre productions across the globe. Whether traveling with TheaterworksUSA or performing in Europe with Jesus Christ Superstar, he strives to maintain a level of integrity and a willingness to always be learning. William has starred in productions of Godspell (Temple Theatre), Miss Saigon (Gateway Playhouse), Footloose (Cape Fear REgional) and most recently directed and starred in a production of Hair. In 2006, he appeared alongside broadway veteran Florence Lacy in the NY premiere of Trouble in Shameland at the Actors' Playhouse.

Since relocating to New York, William has had numerous film and television appearances, including guest starring roles on Dawson's Creek and the CW's One Tree Hill. In addition to several short films, he also recently shared the screen with Oscar Nominee Melissa Leo in the independent feature film One Night, directed by Michael Knowles. His commercial credits include Brooklyn Beer, Papa Gino's Pizza, and Ford Mustang. William in currently auditioning for various projects and seeking unique and challenging material. He is a proud member of the Actors' Equity and the Screen Actors Guild.
